(to rank from September 5, 1862 ), and ordered to report to General Lee's Army December 4, 1862; Assistant Surgeon of Braxton's Battn. C. S. A. Artillery. Captured at Winchester, Va. September 19, 1864 . Forwarded to Fortress Monroe, Va. for exchange January 6, 1865 . Asked for 30 days' leave of absence at Richmond, Va. January 11,1865.
