Barbara Jean Lawrence, 74, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Pinnacle Specialty Care of natural causes.
She was born December 15, 1947, in Waterloo the daughter of Donald and Pauline Jolls Lightfoot. She was a graduate of Sylmar High School in California.
She married Leroy Thomas Lawrence on May 1, 1966, in Las Vegas, NV; he preceded her in death on September 14, 2009.
Barb worked as a self-employed Dog Handler/Breeder for many years. She also was a homemaker and made the most of it.
She had a passion for animals and loved and cared for many.
She loved playing video games, coffee, arts and crafts, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and had been a caregiver for her husband for over 25 years.
Preceded in death by: her parents, Donald Lightfoot and Pauline and Frank Crandall; her husband, Leroy "Tom"; and a brother, James "Jim" Lightfoot.
Graveside Services: will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2022, at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery.
