He was born in Macon and had lived in Barnesville for most of his life. Mr. Moore was the owner and operator of the Barnesville Marble Co. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, a graduate of Gordon Institute and served with the US Army during World War II.
Suvivors include a brother, Edwin L. Moore, of Barnesville; three sisters, Mrs. W. G. Norman, Mrs. H.G. Moore, of Barnesville, and Mrs William Little, of Arlilngton, VA.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning at 11 o'clock at Haisten Funeral Home Chapel in Barnesville. The Rev. Bob Bone will officiate and burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
