Vable Alewine, age 86, of Russellville died Monday, September 25, 2000, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. A daughter of the late Rev. B.F. and Ellar Smith Duvall, she was born July 13, 1914, at Atkins, Arkansas. She was a homemaker.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Alewine, and her daughter, Billie Loveless.
She is survived by two grandsons and a granddaughter-in-law, Mark and Ann Loveless of Little Rock, and Greg Loveless of Jacksonville; one great grandson, David Loveless of Little Rock; and a brother, Cleo Duvall of Atkins.
Graveside service and burial will be 2 P.M., Thursday, September 28, 2000, at St. Joe Cemetery in Atkins, with Rev. Jimmy Lee Chronister officiating. Arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers will be Mark, Greg, and Paul Loveless, Bobby Duvall, Joe E. Jones, and James Alewine.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 P.M., Wednesday at the funeral home.
