EAST LIVERPOOL – Bernice M. Derenburger, of East Liverpool, passed away suddenly Saturday, April 16, 2022, at her home. She was 96.

Born in East Liverpool, March 31, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Ellsworth and Rosie E. Clutter Burlingame. A homemaker, at one time she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church where she enjoyed volunteering. She had been attending Northside Community Church. She was a firm believer in the power of prayer and truly loved her Lord Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Derenburger, in 1999. The couple married April 5, 1947. She was also preceded by three sisters, Grace Derenburger, Hilda Kirbaugh, and Louise Griffin, and three brothers, Harold, Robert and Glenn Burlingame.

She is survived by a daughter, Rowene Dingey and her husband, Allan, and a grandson, Gregory Dingey, all of East Liverpool.

Pastor Larry Rose of the Northside Community Church will conduct a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
