BEULAH BEATRICE NICHOLS WOOTEN, 96, of Duncan, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, in Duncan.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Duncan City Cemetery, with the Rev. Russell Tuck officiating. Interment is under direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
She was born March 9, 1911, in Walters, the daughter of Rueben and Bettie Alexander Nichols. She married Archie Lee Wooten on Nov. 27, 1931, in Duncan. They had just celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary when he passed away on Jan. 29, 2005.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include a brother, Ray Nichols of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren, Ivan Wooten, Corrinne Moore and Brenda Dearing, all of Sacramento, Calif.; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and other loving family members.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Dolores Wooten; and a son, Jimmy Wooten.
