Anita Darling McFee, formerly of Indiana Avenue, West Asheville, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 28, 2006, at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock.
Mrs. McFee was born May 30, 1930, in Plattsburg, MO, and was a daughter of the late Floyd and Maudeccia Taylor Darling.
She attended Warren Wilson College and worked at Winner's Beauty Salon for more than 30 years.
She was a member of the VFW Post 891 Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of Montmorenci United Methodist Church.
Burial will be in the Veterans Cemetery.
