Mary was the daughter of Peter Babb & Mary Lewis who were Quakers from Chester County, PA/One Hundred Oaks, DE area. She was married to Captain Samuel Wilson on 11 Oct 1753 in Chester Co, PA and had four children: Eli Babb, Ralph, Ruth, and Sampson (Mary also had a brother, Sampson Babb).
After Captain Samuel was killed in the Battle of Point Pleasant in 1774, she remarried Abraham Hempenstall in 1775.
I do not have her exact date of death nor place of burial but it appears to be between 1798-1800, possibly in Greenbrier County, WV.
