On Wednesday, April 13, 2022, Margaret Poe Davis, age 98, of Mineral Bluff, passed away at her home. Margaret was born December 23, 1923, in Murphy, NC, to the late James Poe and Jessie Davis Poe. She was the oldest member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, a devout Christian who loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She enjoyed canning, making biscuits, and taking care of her family. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-seven years, Lawrence Davis, sons, Gary Davis, Ike Davis, daughter-in-law, Inez Davis, and son-in-law,Wendell Land.

Funeral services: Monday, April 18, 2022, at 2:00 pm from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
