Survivors: sons, Robert of Haysville, Charles of Long Island City, N.Y.; daughter, Edie Erickson-McCauley of Boca Raton, Fla.; brother, John Hufford of Pensacola, Fla.; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.


Betty Erickson was a first cousin of U.S. President Barack Obama's maternal grandmother, Madelyn "Toot" Dunham.
