Thelma married her high school sweetheart in 1938 after she graduated high school. They had 3 little boys by the time of WWII and Jesse went to sea with the US Navy. She had gotten licensed as a beautician so she would have an income if he didn't return. Happily he did and a girl and another boy followed. She had beauty shops for a good 25 years and gave it up in 1962. Later that year she was widowed and in 1965 moved to Southern California where she married Eli LaCaille in 1970. They were married until he passed way in 2003. She was in relatively good health, surrounded by her 3 remaining children. until a bad fall and she hit her head. She was in Hospice Care until about 5:30 am on 15 Dec 2021. She is my mom and greatly missed.
