Charles A. McHugh, 93, of 1104 14th St. S.W., Puyallup, a retired supervisor of Calvary Cemetery in Seattle, died Sunday.

He was born in Buckley and had moved to Puyallup four years ago from Seattle, where he had resided 50 years.

He was a member of the Catholic Church of the Assumption and Knights of Columbus in Seattle.

Survivors include three sons, Edward of Seattle, Father Michael McHugh, S.J., of Havre, Mont., and Charles A. Jr. of Los Angeles; five daughters, Mrs. Ellen Herold of Puyallup, Mrs. Ronnie Herold and Mrs. Christine Weber, both of Seattle, Mrs. Kathleen Hurson of Kennewick and Mrs. Mary Richeson of Louisville, Ky.; a brother, John of Portland; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Earley of Spokane and Mrs. Charlotte Pierce of Seattle; and 36 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Catholic Church of the Assumption in Seattle, Father Michael McHugh, S.J., Celebrant. The Holy Rosary will be recited Tuesday, 8 p.m., at the Powers Funeral Chapel, Puyallup. Casketbearers will be grandsons. Powers Funeral Home, Puyallup, is in charge.
