Arnold Malone Alexander was born December 5, 1933 in Brownwood, Texas, the son of James William and Aline (Rose) Alexander. He passed from this life March 24, 2022 in Georgetown, Texas at the age of 88. Arnold had lived in Georgetown for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and loved his country. He had a long career in construction, and at one time owned and operated Ranger Supply in Austin. Arnold was a member of the Leander Church of Christ. He was an avid writer of western novels and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He and Alice Bonnet were united in marriage December 20, 1951 in Austin. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; two brothers and a granddaughter. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 71 years, Alice; children, Mark (JoAnn), Cheryl (Rick) and Bridget (Tim); 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Monday, March 28, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown.
