Raymond R. Bubnack January 7, 2008

Raymond R. Bubnack, 81, of East Syracuse, passed away Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born June 2, 1926, the son of Harry and Jennie Simiensyk Bubnack. He graduated from East Syracuse High School in 1944 and served with the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Mr. Bubnack was an engineer with Carrier Corporation in East Syracuse, retiring after 33 years. He later worked as an engineer with Northrup Corporation in California. He was a member of American Legion Pulaski Post 1650, the John Vendetti Post and a member of the Knights of the Cross.

Survivors: his children, Kathleen (Michael) Ashe of Mohawk, Patricia Tyszka of Cicero and Richard (Cindy) Bubnack of Kirkville; a brother, Harry (Sue) Bubnack of San Diego, CA; five grandchildren, Ryan and Phillip Ashe, Audrey and Matthew Tyszka, and Melissa Gomes; and two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Rian Ashe.

Funeral Services: 9:45 a.m. Friday from Russell H. Schepp & Son and 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Minoa. Burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 109 East Ave., Minoa.
