Died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alma Brown.
He married Martha Cain in 1884 and she died in 1901. Nine children: Ethel Jones of Dawson, OK; Martha [sic - s/b Mary] Parham, Wilmington, CA; Cora, deceased; Grace Smith, Claremore, OK; Bertha, deceased; Alma Brown of Garnett, OK; Alva Stanley, Claremore, OK; Florence Sonneborn of Warsaw, IL; and Martha Price of Peoria, IL.
Also survived by three siblings: James Stanley of Mercer, MO; G.W. Stanley of May, OK; and Mrs. Howard Overton of Mercer, MO.
Funeral was held at the Freedom church with burial in the Freedom Cemetery on 13 May 1930.
