Mary Ramona Bailey, 85, died Friday, April 8, 2022, in Oark. She was born November 28, 1936, in CITY, New Mexico, to Elbert and Gladys Fay (Harmon) Sherrel. Ramona was fond of hiking, flower gardening, and Elvis. She was deeply devoted to her family and hosted family lunch after church every Sunday. Ramona was quick on her feet, ''spicy'', and a skilled karate artist.
She is survived by one son, Arley Clinton Bailey and wife Denise; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ramona is preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, Arley; one brother, Brooklyn Sherrell; and one sister, Elberta Freeman.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2022, at Sherrellville Cemetery in Batson.
