Services for Marjorie Laverne Genetzke, 85, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kennedy Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Steve Gardner officiating. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery.

Born Sept. 12, 1914, at Colquitt, Ga., to Leroy and Cenella Addison Brown, Mrs. Genetzke died Oct. 9, 1999, in the local hospital.

Reared in Colquitt, she lived in Benton Harbor, Mich., before moving to Marietta 30 years ago.

She was preceded in death by two husbands Homer Ensley and William Genetzke; a son, Leon Ensley; five brothers, Amos, Gearld, Clinton, Addison and M.J. Brown

Survivors include a daughter, Marjorie Greenwood, Marietta; a sister, Myrtrice Phillips, Albany, Ga.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Bearers will be Tim Sandefur, Pat, Mark and John Greenwood
