In her later years (her 90s), Mrs. Hamilton shared that William Julius was not her only child. She had lost four children at birth or in their infancy as a young woman. Sadly, she could no longer remember where they were buried. I cannot locate any documentation for these children.

Annie Irene Burkhalter and William Landslet Hamilton married in Oconee County in 1914. Lawrence Duke was born in 1915, so is likely the eldest child. The 1920 Census reports them living on the Statham Rd in Oconee County. That means they were living a mile or two away from the Daniell-Freeman cemetery at the time. William Landslet's father, Duke Hamilton was already buried in this cemetery, and his mother, Sarah Ann (Fulcher) Hamilton, would be buried there in 1921. Duke's first wife, Nancy Duckworth (Luke) Hamilton, is also there, as his parents are accepted to be.

Looking at all the data, it is highly probable that these four infants were interred in Daniell-Freeman Cemetery in unmarked graves.
