Kennedy, Marilyn Sue, of Portage, Michigan, age 79, passed away on August 26, 2020. She was born on July 8, 1941 to Eleanor and Dale Kennedy of Comstock. Marilyn was active in band in school. After graduating she went to work at Bell Telephone for 30 years. In retirement, she enjoyed her years of golfing with friends, traveling and watching all her favorite teams: Detroit Tigers and Lions.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Judy Abraham; her brother Randy (Barb) Kennedy and her special friend Carol MonHollen.

She is survived by her brothers, Doug (Della) Kennedy, Dennis (Judy) Kennedy, Don (Sally) Kennedy and many nieces and nephews. Her niece Lori Dinse was instrumental in helping her in her last years. Her pets Zoie and Spunky were the love of her life.

At her request, she has been cremated, and a memorial service will take place at a later time. Marilyn was a very generous, caring loving person that enjoyed life. She will be missed! Memorials in Marilyn's memory may be directed to the Kalamazoo Humane Society.
