passed away peacefully at home, filled with the Holy Spirit, and surrounded by love and family on April 2, 2022. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 10, 1945, one of six children to the late John M. and Sophie D. (Kowalski) Cudnik. She earned her business degree from Chancellor College in Cleveland and later in life found her true calling and became a nurse. Diane spent her life giving to and caring for others and volunteered for numerous organizations over the years including her children's schools, youth sports organizations and high school booster clubs, libraries and with her church, York Christian Fellowship. A passionate advocate for education, children, and charitable causes, Diane was a founding member of the Jacobus, Pennsylvania Village Library. Most recently, she was an active member of the Jacobus Lions Lioness Club and was responsible for fundraising for the Pennsylvania Lions Beacon Lodge Camp for special needs children. She often traveled throughout the country to visit and support her grandchildren and was a proud and doting "Grandma/Baba." Diane loved vacationing near the Ocean, enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was involved in Bible Studies, Prayer Groups and Book Clubs. Her generosity, humor, quick wit, compassion, and love were unmatched, and she will be missed by all who knew her. Diane is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, David A. Siegel, her children, Richard Siegel (Cathy) of York, PA; John Siegel (Lauren} of Malvern, PA,; Amy Wood (David) of Natick, MA; Jennifer Hunter (Marcus} of Franklin, TN; Laura Ohme (Phil} of Del Mar, CA; and Margaret Schmugge (Jacob} of Flagstaff, AZ. Eleven (11) grandchildren, Michael, Brandon and Emily Siegel, Madeline Siegel, William and Benjamin Wood, Christopher, Nicholas and Ava Hunter and Max and Eli Ohme. Her brothers and sister, Dennis Cudnik (Kimberly), Jack Cudnik (Doreen), and Susan Donelan (Eric). Brother- and sister-in-laws', Donna Cudnik, Barbara Ritchie (Keith) and Jerry Siegel, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sophie Cudnik, brothers Gerald Cudnik and Hilary Cudnik; and sister-in-laws', Carolyn Cudnik and Maryann Cudnik. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 21st at York Christian Fellowship in York, Pennsylvania and she will be buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
