Henry L. Knoll, 81, died May 23 at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights. Born in Northbrook, he had lived in the Village all his life. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are his wife, Elsie, nee Eberlein; a son, Harry of Northbrook; two daughters, Jeanette Sietmann of Glenview, and Alice Ward of Mt. Prospect; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ella Butzow of Glenview and Alvina Reisner of Florida; and two brothers, John of Glenview and Arthur of Northbrook. Visitation was at Oehler Funeral Home, Des Plaines. The Rev. James Bach officiated at the service Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 3010 Milwaukee Ave. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to St. John's Organ Fund.
