The Evening Review, E. Liverpool, OH, Tues., July 2, 1929, P. 2:
"Oliver Neal Phillips, 44, died yesterday in the Altman hospital, Canton, O., where he had been employed as a nurse.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Esther Phillips; one son, Delmont; three daughters, Marjorie, Olive and Roberta, Burgettstown, Pa.; his father, R. S. Phillips, Chester, and four sisters, Mrs. Ella Martin, Chester; Mrs. Minnie Butterworth, East Liverpool; Mrs. Jennie Acherman, Carrollton, O., and Mrs. Elizabeth Ferris, Midway, Pa.
Funeral services will be...Thursday in the Martin home, Carolina avenue, in charge of the Rev. W. H. Baker, Pastor of the First Church of Christ, East Liverpool. Burial will be made in Cross Creek cemetery at Burgettstown."

"Funeral...for Oliver Neal Phillips, 44, who died in Canton, O., will be held tomorrow morning...in the home of his sister, Mrs. Ella Martin...Burial will be made in Cross Creek cemetery at Burgettstown."
