Funeral Services For William Hoag Are Held Saturday

Funeral services for William C. Hoag Sr., 66, were held in the Bouton Memorial Home Saturday afternoon with Rev. William Caulkins in charge. Burial was in the Princeville cemetery.

He was born November 1, 1891, the son of George E. and Margaret (Sisk) Hoag, in Whitting Mo., and passed away suddenly in his in San Antonio Texas, Sunday night, June 16,of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Hoag was a former resident of Monica.

He was the Past Master of the Peoria Heights Masonic Lodge and was employed at the Caterpillar Tractor Co. for many years before going to Hawaii and later to San Antonio, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Hoag of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Mildred Llewlyn of Richmond, Va., and Mrs. Ruth Alexander of Minneapolis, Minn.; and one William C. Hoag Jr., of Monica; three step children; three sisters; and eight grandchildren.
