Coe Blachford, 56, Columbia avenue, resident of this city for 20 years, died this morning at,6 o'clock at Highland hospital of pneumonia following an illness of
two weeks. He had been at the hospital for the past 10 days.
Mr. Blachford born May 4,1883, in Shattuck's Grove, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Blachford. Prior to coming here in 1919 he lived at Marengo.He was unmarried.
Surviving are a brother, Roy,residing in Montana, and a number of uncles, aunts, and cousins.His parents and two brothers preceeded him in death.
Funeral services will he Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Atkins-Johnson funeral home with Rev. R. D. Walter, South Baptist church pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Shattuck's Grove cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday or Wednesday at any time at the funeral home.
