Louis was the son of Joseph Vukovich from Austria and was in the Ramsay community about 13 years, immigrating about 1901. He had a third grade education and was a laborer at the Plymouth Mine. Louis married Helen Hlebar and they had Joseph, Louis, George, Eva, Marie, Barbara, Helen, and Anne. He was of medium height and stout build with brown eyes and black hair. Louis died from acute myocarditis at the age of 65 years 5 months and 20 days. Helen died in Wisconsin in 1964.
