Leta was born in Farmer City on July 23, 1891 the youngest daughter of Sherman and Harriet Arbogast. She spent her girlhood days in Farmer City vicinity and received her education in the Farmer City schools. She made many, many friends with her pleasing personality which found a warm spot in the hearts of her associates.
She married Albert Lott Ross (1890-1947) at the home of her parents on November 25, 1911. They made their home on a farm near Mansfield until a few years ago when they moved to Decatur. She is survived by her husband; her parents; a sister, Mrs. Lida Dockum of Oklahoma; a brother, Dee Arbogast of Decatur; and a host of friends in the vicinities in which she has lived.
