Edith Helen Watson, 88, of Alton was born July 30, 1918, in Oregon County, MO, and died Aug. 21, 2006, at Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains, MO.
Survivors include two daughters, Lillian Bridges of Alton, MO; and Nancy Todd of West Plains, MO; one son, John Deckard of Gilroy, CA; one sister, Ann Garren of Centralia, IL; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mary (Jackson) Little; two husbands, Herman Deckard and Archie "Bill" Watson; one brother, Clyde Little; two sisters, Opal Deckard and Rosa Cooley; and three infant siblings.
The funeral services were Aug. 23 at the Clary Chapel in Alton. Burial followed in the Hickory Grove Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO.
