A graveside service will be held for Richard Wendell Chambers on Monday, April 11 at 11 a.m. at Pine Creek Cemetery. Dick passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, April 2, 2022.
He was born on November 15, 1940 in Chico to Raymond and Ursul Chambers. He graduated from Chico High School in 1958. In 1962 he married Carolyn Pannell in Reno, NV. Dick operated a backhoe for 20 years before he started farming almonds. He enjoyed building classic cars and spending time with his family.
Dick is survived by his children, R.J. (Lorri) Chambers, Susie Chambers; five grandchildren, Mackenzie, Clay, Colby, Sara and Rhett; two great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Callahan; two brothers, Tom and John Chambers.
