BEDFORD — Wayne Jeffrey Baker, 50, of 1312 Ninth Street, Bedford, died at 10 a.m. Sunday at his residence.
Born January 20, 1957, in Bedford, he was the son of Arthur Ishmael and Carole (Flynn) Baker.
He had worked at General Motors and was co-owner of Mid-West Metal Spinning, Inc.
He was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School in the class of 1975 and attended Springville Pentecostal Church. He loved riding motorcycles, boating, fishing and had a soft spot in his heart for dogs.
Survivors include his mother, Carole Baker of Bedford; two sons: Justin Riley Baker and wife Cami and Jeffrey Tyler Baker, all of Bedford; Wayne's former wife, Kimberly Korvela-Baker; two grandchildren: Whitney Alexis Baker and Brayden Lee Patton; and several nieces, nephews and many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur; grandparents, Floyd C. and Sarah Elizabeth Flynn and Arthur M. and Evangeline Baker.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Brother Darrell E. Flynn officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery.
