She married Robert H. "Bob" Siemer on 02 Sep 1950 in Hardin, Illinois. They were the parents of 2 children, and the family lived in Meppen, Illinois.
Bob worked as a carpenter for 35 years. He was with Local 1987 in St. Charles, Missouri and retired in 1989.
Rosie and Bob were members of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Meppen. She was active in the Ladies Altar Society. He belonged to the Brussels American Legion and the Hardin Knights of Columbus.
Bob passed away in 2012. After his death, she moved to the Dallas, Texas area to be near 1 of her daughters and her grandchildren.
Rosie was always known for her exceptional pie making skills and her talents as a seamstress. She loved rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals, but her greatest joy came from getting to watch her great-grandchildren grow during the final 5 years of her life.
Rosie lived until 2022, when she died in Dallas at the age of 89 years, 8 months and 5 days.
She was survived by 2 daughters, (Living) Pohlman and (Living) Barry, and 1 son-in-law; 2 grandchildren and their spouses; 6 great-grandchildren, all of Dallas.
In addition to her husband, Rosie was preceded in death by her mother and father; 1 brother, Lyndle Caselton; and 3 sisters, Letha Simon, Helen Caselton and Vera Caselton.
Visitation was held on 04 Apr 2022 at the Gress, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Hardin. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. the following morning at St. Norbert's Catholic Church in Hardin. Rosie was buried next to her husband, Bob.
The family requested that memorials, if desired, be made to The Restore (Pro-Life) Ministry or to the charity of one's choice.
