Mrs. Dudney died yesterday at a Nashville hospital after a long illness.
The former George Stowers, she was married to Clyde A. Dudney, a Nashville tire dealer, who died in 1948.
Mrs. Dudney attended Peabody College and taught several years in elementary schools in Georgia and Kentucky.
Her sister, Mrs. Nellie Giles of Charlotte N.C., was buried there Tuesday.
Mrs. Dudney was a member of Brentwood Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Miss Adelle Dudney and Miss Katherine Dudney, both of Nashville,and another sister, Mrs. R. B. Boyles, Birmingham, Ala.
