Andrew "Andy" Joseph Bockholt Sr., 79, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Bristol Park at Cypress Memory Care. He courageously battled the numerous challenges of Parkinson's Disease for over 25 years.

After graduating from St. John's Seminary and St. Mary's University, he pursued many careers including personnel manager, tool and oil salesman, and inventor. As a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2902 in Schulenburg and a 4th Degree member of Assembly 1527 in Weimar, he volunteered in both the church and community. He enjoyed the great outdoors and always enjoyed a good game of dominoes.

Andy was the first of 10 children born to Joe and Agnes Bockholt in Robstown. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Jerry, Herb and Alice.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his children, Susanne (David) and Andrew Jr. (Schrenia); six siblings, Joe, Ken, Marian, Melvin, Jeannine and Werner; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church was held on Monday, April 4, 2022 and was officiated by Fr. Isaac Maunger.
