DEAD AT DAYTON - James L. Kingsley, one of the best-known men in Sheffield township, ' died Monday morning' at 6:45 o'clock at his. home in - Dayton. Mr. Kingsley had been ailing for several months and bedfast, for the past few days.

The son of ' Alonzo and Hannah (Dewhurst) Kingsley," pioneer residents of Peoria, Ill., he was born September 14, 1864. In 1889 he was married to Mary C. Godfrey and ten years after his marriage they came to Dayton to live. After the death of Mrs. Kingsley, which occurred July 6, 1924, he was married to Sally Fletcher Staley on January 28, 1925.

Besides his widow he leaves a step-son, Harry Fletcher, of Los. Angeles, Cal.
