Betty married Louis Charles Alice in 1921. They had 2 children: Carolyn (1923) and Roy (1924), probably both born in Texas. They must have divorced. Louis married Ada Thompson and they had a son in 1929 in Washington, where Louis died in 1959.

In 1950, Betty became the 3rd wife of Jerry Lindesmith. They had no children together. (Jerry had about 8 children with his first 2 wives). Betty's name is on the same stone with his, but she was actually buried in Northside Church of Christ Cemetery in Butler, Alabama.

Velma, also listed on Jerry's stone, was a daughter from his 1st wife.
