Bonnie Ann Gatewood, 61, died Tuesday Jan. 1, 2008, at her residence in Superior.
She was born in Altoona, Pa., Dec. 1, 1946.
She grew up in Gallitzin, Pa,. and attended schools there and graduated from Bishop Carroll High School.
She shortly after went to work for the State Department.
Bonnie married Charles Gatewood on Nov. 17, 1968, and began a life of travel by his side all over the world as a Marine Corps wife. She was an excellent housekeeper and loved gardening. She enjoyed her friendships with the people of Superior, and her grandchildren were the glimmer in her eye.
