He was awarded the degree of doctor of medicine, surgery and obstetrics in 1896.

On 1 October 1914 he was appointed head of the 3rd hospital section of the 5th division of the army: and finally, on 1 April 1915 he was appointed to head the 1st hospital section of the 2nd Division of the army. 1st Class regiment physician since March 30, 1916.

November 4, 1917 he was killed by a torpedo exploding as he was going to the rescue of wounded.
