Randy L. Van Orman, 65, Port Matilda, formerly of Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday morning at his residence. He was born in Roaring Spring, son of Kenneth E. and the late Eva I. (Kitchen) Van Orman. In 1980 he married Kelly McGee in Hollidaysburg.

He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Van Orman.

Randy was a 1975 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He was the owner/operator of Pro-Trans Transmission Specialists in State College since 1983. Randy was a member of Bald Eagle Baptist Church, Port Matilda and the NRA. He loved cars and enjoyed drag racing, hunting, NHRA and camping.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg; and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, April 1, 2022, at Bald Eagle Baptist Church, Port Matilda, with Pastor David R. Spaugh officiating. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Port Matilda.
