Joseph McQuiston (1855- 1937),son 0f Israel and Hannah (Lusk) McQuiston. He was married 1885 to Emma I. Phillips, in Wallace Co. Kansas. Their seven children; four were born in Wallace Co., Kansas, and three were born Madison Co.Arkansas. Helen, b. Apr 1, 1886, Hannah M., b. Apr 12, 1888, Lillie Edna. b. Mar 29, 1890, Andrew J, b. Aug 27, 1892, Myrtle I., b. Jan 2, 1894, Fredrick P., b. May 13, 1898 and Harry E., b. Feb 8, 1902. Joseph moved with his parents about 1871 to Gove Co Ks. where he married his wife. In 1892 they moved to Clifty, Madison Co, Ark, and then moved in 1911 to Wichita, Kansas, where they are both buried.
