GLADEWATER — Graveside services for David R. Burgess Jr., 39, of Gladewater will be 2 p.m. Friday at Rock Springs Cemetery in Gladewater under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home.
Mr. Burgess died Wednesday at a Terrell hospital after a short illness.
Born July 22, 1943, in Chicago, he lived in Gladewater most of his life. Mr. Bugess graduated from Gladewater High School in 1961 and attended Kilgore College. He was a self-employed artist.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Burgess Sr. of Gladewater; and a brother, James Michael of Gladewater.
