Mrs. Lake was born near Second and Walnut streets, the daughter of Henry Bedgood. She was educated at the Washington grade school and Central high school. In 1888 she was married to Mr. Lake, who later operated drugstores at Sixth street and Minnesota avenue and Tenth and Minnesota avenue. he died September 27, 1938.
With Mrs. Lake when she died were her brother, Albert Bedgood, and a niece, Mrs. Jane Wright, both of Portland, Ore. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 o'clock Wednesday at the Long chapel, with the Rev. Carl W. Nau, recotor of St. Paul's Episcopal church, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery.
