Elizabeth Faye Irvin, 89, of St. Augustine, FL passed away July, 28, 2021. Faye was born January 23, 1932 in Akron, Ohio. She was the daughter of Commander William Dewitt "Pops" and Elizabeth "Lib" Kennedy. She graduated from Robert E Lee High School in June of 1950 and enjoyed a career as an insurance adjuster for Independent Life.

She was an avid historian, archivist and genealogist who loved Orange Park, it's history and gave several lectures, presentations and courses throughout Clay County.
Faye was a member of numerous Orange Park organizations, the highlights for her were the Orange Park Women's Club since 1994 where she was voted Woman of the Year 2010-2011, which she saw as a duty to represent the organization and was very proud to receive. She was, however, most proud of her research that allowed her to become a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She also loved anything Scottish, reading and her cats.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and her husband, for whom she loved dearly, Bill C. Irvin and their children Ronald and Fayzee. She is survived by nieces Liz Lynch, Robin Kennedy, Christina Kennedy and nephew William Kennedy.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2021 in the Jacksonville Memory Gardens Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until service time. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to The Safe Animal Shelter.
