Patricia "Pat" Kathleen Hollis, 70, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022. She was born April 6, 1951 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Leroy Thomas and Dorothy Mae (Gilbreath) Phillips.
Pat attended Muskogee public schools and graduated from Central High School in 1969. She earned her LPN license and later graduated from Bacone College receiving her RN degree. She worked for many years as an RN and retired from Muskogee Regional Medical Center.
Pat was a member of Muskogee Baptist Temple (later named Temple Baptist Church) where she faithfully served as a Sunday school teacher. She was a current member of Liberty Baptist Temple where she had attended for the past 11 years.
Pat will always be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Dorothy Phillips; grandmother, Lillian Gilbreath and grandfather, Marlin Gilbreath.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Morris and husband David; son, Randy Hollis; grandchildren, Logan Morris, Lauren Morris, Nick Morris, Paisley Morris, Kyle Mier and Michael Hollis; great-grandchildren, Stormie Morris and Kenzley Morris, and Castyn Royse (on the way); sister, Sue Vanzant and husband Floyd; niece, Tammy Vanzant; nephew, Robert Vanzant; great-niece, Megan Clifton; great-nephew, Justin Clifton; along with other family members and friends.
