Charles Christopher "Chris" Hackelton, age 50, of Prairie Grove, Ark., died Wed., Feb. 2, 2022. He was born May 27, 1971, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to Charles and Beverly Hackelton.

Chris was a kindhearted loving husband, Father, grandpa, and friend, helping anyone in need, and rising above many hardships in his life; his many friends carried him through, in particular his best friend Michael. He lived for making memories and spent his days making knives, playing guitar, fishing, and watching classic TV shows with his wife. His greatest accomplishment was spending his last four years with his soulmate and being a grandpa.

Christ was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Tammy, children Nichole Fielder (Grant), Charles Hackelton, Tara Shepherd (Dalton), and Travis Shipley, siblings Richard Dancer and April Barnes, uncle Carl Hackelton (Barbara), and grandchildren Raleigh and Laykyn.
