She was born on November 23, 1907 in the town of North Hampton, New York the daughter of Martin and Estella (Bates) Sleezer.
Her first marriage was to Jack Baicar in 1926 and he predeceased her several years ago. She then married Ellery J. Keyser on June 19, 1937. Mr. Keyser predeceased her on November 29, 1977.
Mrs. Keyser was employed for many years at the former Leda Shoe Company and the Dalson Shoe Company, retiring in 1970. Mrs. Keyser was a Charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hilltop Fire Department and a member of the Oppenheim Senior Citizens and the Oppenheim Grange. She personally enjoyed camping, fishing and cooking with her family throughout the years.
She is survived by a daughter, Arlene Ellis of Dolgeville; a stepson and his wife, George E. and Marian Keyser of Little Falls, son-in-law, William Dillenbeck of Little Falls, 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughters, Eleanor Dillenbeck on April 1, 2001 and Beatrice in 1943 and a son-in-law, Calvin Ellis on February 6, 2005. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1 PM at the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville. Rev. James Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dolgeville Cemetery.
