In 1942, he married Denise Bourdet. Their marriage lasted for 6X years. Tom voluntarily joined the US Navy during the Second World War, serving 24 months in San Diego and Hawaii. Upon return from the War, Tom and Denise lived in Walnut, California. Tom worked his way to a manager with Southern Counties Gas Company in Whittier while raising alfalfa in Walnut, California and oranges in Riverside, California.
In 1957, Tom, Denise and their 3 sons moved to Santa Barbara, California as the District Manager for Southern Counties Gas Company. There he would manage employees in 3 counties until his retirement in 197X?. He was an avid member of the Santa Barbara Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce and was Chairman for the United Way.
In retirement, Tom and Denise spent time travelling with their long time friends.
Tom is survived by his wife, Denise, 3 sons, Stephen, Frederick and Tony, 5 grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
