Death of Mrs. Fletcher.

Mrs. Elizabeth Fletcher died Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. McKean, 727 North Water street, after a sickness of two weeks. The funeral services were conducted at the residence yesterday afternoon by Rev. Dubber of the Christian church and the remains were laid to rest beside her husband who died ten years ago. Mrs. Fletcher who at the time of her death was 76 years of age was one of the early settlers of this county having settled in Garden Plaine township in 1874. Nine children, one daughter and eight sons survive her. The daughter and five of the sons live in Wichita.

FUNERAL OF MRS. FLETCHER

Large Concourse of Relatives and Friends Accompany Remains.

The remains of Mrs. Elizabeth Fletcher who died last Tuesday at the residence of her son–in–law, John McKeen, 727 North Wichita street, occurred yesterday from the same residence at 1:30 o'clock.

Interment was made in Highland cemetery.

Rev. Dubber of the Christian church conducted the services and spoke touchingly of the virtues of the deceased and comforted the sorrowful hearts that mourned her loss.

Mrs. Fletcher was a devoted communicant in the Christian church of which her husband, prior to his death, 12 years ago, was a minister.

Seven boys and one daughter survive their parents.

Besides the immediate family, a large number of relatives and intimate friends accompanied the remains to the cemetery, where they were laid to rest beside those of the husband and father.
