Warrensburg NY Lake George News THURSDAY, JULY 8, 1915

Mrs. Clara B. Dougan, born in Warreneburgh February 8, 1859, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Halsey B. Hayes, died Monday night at Wichita, Kansas, of rheumatiem, from which she had suffered for several years. For a year she had been confined to her bed and was unconscious most of the time the past three months. The deceased went West about thirty years ago and settled in Marshalltown. Iowa, where she lived about live years, when she was married to Dr. M. Dougan and went to Guthrie , Okla., to live. She remained there until her husband's death eight years ago when she removed to Wichita. She leaves a son and daughter, both of whom live in Wichita. She is also survived by four brothers and a sister, Martin J. Hayes, of Northville : Edgar T. Hayes, of Warrensburgh; James H. Hayes, of Flushing ; John C. Hayes, of Falls City, Neb.; Albert F. Hayes, of Whitehall, and Mrs. John C. Bennett, of Glens Falls.
