MRS. MARY BROWN PASSES AWAYAT AGE OF 89 YEARS
Was Widow of J. H. Brown Who Endowed Wichita College in Early Days
LIVED HERE SINCE 1879
Mrs. Mary A. Brown, 89 years old, died at her home, 1432 South Main street, Saturday evening, at 8:45 o'clock.
She was the widow of the late J. H. Brown, who endowed Wichita college. Mr. Brown died in 1903. Mrs. Brown had been a resident of this city since 1879. She was a charter member of Brown's Memorial Reformed church and was always actively engaged in its advancement.
The deceased is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Annie Shinn, of Conway Springs, and Mrs. E. J. Long-rangements have been made. A. G. Mueller, mortician, has charge of the body.

BROWN -- Funeral services of Mrs. Mary A. Brown will be conducted at the Mueller mortuary Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Highland cemetery.
