Douglas James Beevers, 73, of Clovis NM, passed away on March 17th in Lubbock, TX.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on March 21st at Steed-Todd funeral home in Clovis.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on March 22nd at the Beevers' Cemetery in Forrest, NM with Pastor Amy Jordan officiating.

Doug was born in Clovis to Harol and Marie Beevers on December 14, 1948. He graduated from Clovis High School in 1967. Doug married Jolene Grubaugh on June 2, 1972 in Clovis. He worked for several natural gas companies in Clovis, Tucumcari, and Clayton for 35 years. Doug loved hunting and fishing and was a hunting guide for many years.

Doug is preceded in death by his father Harol Beevers, his mother Marie Beevers, and his brother David Beevers.

Doug is survived by his wife Jolene Beevers, his daughter Brenda Beevers, his son Clay Beevers, his granddaughter Gracie Beevers, his sister Marilyn Lindsay, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Beevers, Don Beevers, Clinton Beevers, Walter Beevers, Roger Huntley, Darrell Bollinger, David Kelly, and Darrell Chancey. Honorary pallbearers are Randy Beevers, Emmitt Beevers, Johnny Beevers, Jim Beevers, Richard Estes, Kent Grubaugh, Austin Reid, John Dosher, and all his hunting and fishing buddies.
