Jamie L. Dye (Wilburn), 62, of McKees Rocks since August of 1996, formerly of Coraopolis, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Jamie was born in Sewickley on October 18, 1959, one of three children to the late Barbara R. (Bush) and Ernest G. Dye, Jr. Jamie was a 1977 graduate of Cornell High School. In 1979, she attended Robert Morris College. Jamie was a faithful member of Abiding Faith Ministry and involved in their card ministry. Jamie would go out of her way to help others and worked in customer service. She worked in data intake and triage for Victims of Violent Crimes, always lending support, touched with empathy. Jamie was also an accomplished seamstress. On September 19, 1992, she married Donald Wilburn Sr. They had a beautiful son, Donovan Ernest Wilburn who preceded her in death. Beloved sister of Marlon Ernest Dye-her caregiver and with whom she made her home and Barry Garfield Dye; devoted grandmother of Amarri Miyur Dixon; cherished aunt of Barbara Dye, Marlon Dye, Jr., Rachel Jones Lawson (Aaron) and Layla Dye; cherished great aunt also known as "Jamie's Babies" of Sirrell Burton, Kendell McCray, Jr., Noble Lawson, Simone Lawson; Stepdaughter of Vera Dye; sister of Melissa Dye; God Sister of Joy Shackelford; also surviving are her husband Donald Wilburn, Sr. and stepson Donald Wilburn, Jr. Jamie had a beautiful smile, sparkly eyes, infectious humor and a beautiful inner spirit. She was loved by all. She is home with her Lord and Savior where she has found true peace, her broken heart is healed as she joined Donovan. Visitation Saturday from 1 PM until time of service at 3 PM at Copeland's Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. As her spirit helped others, the family requests as you remember her, touch another's life with a kind deed.
